Here’s our family recipe for delicious fondue!
- 1/2 lb Helvetia Gruyere cheese
- 1/2 lb Helvetia BergChaese
- 1 1/2 T flour
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1/2 T lemon juice
- 1/2 clove minced garlic
Grate cheese into a large bowl and mix in flour. Heat wine (start with 3/4 cup and add more as needed), lemon juice and minced garlic to almost boiling on stove or fondue pot. Slowly add cheese while stirring until cheese is melted and has the consistency of creamy sauce. Remove pot and place on lighted burner on table. We recommend dipping apples, sausage, and a baguette. Enjoy!
